Administration, union make progress, agree on key article

More progress was made during the latest bargaining session July 10 between the administration and OU-AAUP as the two sides came to an agreement on a key article dealing with employment and tenure and tentatively approved a memorandum of agreement. 

OU-AAUP also presented their own economic proposal after the administration presented theirs last week. The administration will review the proposal and its economic impact on the university as it continues to pursue a fair, reasonable and sustainable agreement.

The two sides are scheduled to meet twice next week on July 16 and July 18.
