Fourth bargaining session yields more progress

In a sign of continued progress, bargaining teams for the OU administration and OU-AAUP met again on June 26, tentatively agreeing on four more articles for the new contract, including keeping tuition benefits for faculty members and dependents and updating the grievance process.

Additionally, the two sides continued discussions on other proposals, having constructive conversations on the issues and committing to further talks.

The bargaining teams are scheduled to meet again July 3 as they continue to work on resolving the few remaining non-economic items.
