What we do: 

Purchasing procures supplies, equipment and services, which support the educational and research missions of Oakland University. The Purchasing Department handles all aspects of the procurement process, including:

• establishing and managing supplier relationships
• identifying and developing sources;
• assisting departments in soliciting bids, quotations and proposals;
• efficiently procuring goods and services at the best value
• negotiation of contracts
