Give to OUCARES
As of 2021, the US Centers for Disease Control report that at least one in every 44 children is living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Every year more families are impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders and will seek out support services such as those provided at the Oakland University Center for Autism Outreach Services (OUCARES). Your donation today will help us continue to provide these services to the growing community.
Listed below are examples of how your contribution can make a difference:
- $25: scholarship for parent of child with autism to learn evidence-based ABA strategies to support their child's learning and behaviors at home
- $50: educational supplies needed for 5 children with autism to participate in summer camp (covers sensory materials, art supplies, social skills games, etc)
- $100: scholarship for child/teen/adult with autism to attend yoga program (learn self-regulation, calming strategies, engage in physical and mental wellness activity)
- $250: scholarship to help send a child/teen/adult with autism to summer camp (have social opportunities, practice communication, learn new skills, not regress over summer, etc)
- $500: scholarship for an adult with autism to learn employment readiness skills to get and keep a job
