We sat down with political science major, Dawn Aubry, to talk about her favorite OU moments.

MAJOR: Bachelor of Arts in political science, 1992.

DID YOU LIVE ON- OR OFF-CAMPUS? On campus

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE STUDY SPOT? Hill House study room

WHICH IS YOUR GO-TO PARKING LOT? When I was a student I parked in the residence halls overflow parking lot where the Human Health Building stands today.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD OR PLACE TO EAT ON CAMPUS? When I was an undergraduate student it was JWs in the CC. Today it would be Finnegans Pub.

WHAT IS THE BEST BUILDING TO HAVE CLASSES IN? South Foundation Hall

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT ON CAMPUS? My Commencement ceremony at the Meadowbrook Amphitheatre when President Sandra Packard acknowledged me as the OU Human Relations Award recipient

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PROFESSOR? I was both taught and mentored by many excellent OU faculty members. Beth Talbert, Kevin Early, Thomas Casstevens, Eugenie Beall, Carl Vann, Sandra Packard, Julia Smith, Bob Wiggins, Eileen Johnson, and Sheldon Appleton all made a positive difference in my life.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST CLASS? Political Science 131 - Foreign Political Systems with Dr. Thomas Casstevens and Sociology 300 - Alcohol, Drugs & Society with Dr. Kevin Early.

WHAT SONG(S) DO YOU LISTEN TO WHEN YOU’RE STUDYING? Typically a mixture of classical music, Motown, 1980s Janet Jackson, U2, New Order and Erasure tunes.

HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR BEST FRIEND ON CAMPUS? I met Michael Wadsworth during Orientation Group Leader training in 1991. He has remained one of my best friends since that time. Thanks to Beth Talbert for hiring us as OGLs and influencing our decisions to pursue careers in Student Affairs!

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOURSELF? I have the unique pleasure of returning to my alma mater after working at two institutions in Ohio.
