Biography
Jenna Katz is a special lecturer at Oakland University where she teaches writing and supports mindful living as a campus wellness ambassador. Jenna has been a professional writer since 2002 and has written articles, white papers, proposals, blogs, memoirs, and poems. She has been teaching writing, career readiness, and communication since 2008 and has experience working in corporate, nonprofit, and academic environments. Her experience allows her to help students develop and communicate their ideas for personal, academic, and professional purposes. When she is not writing or teaching, Jenna enjoys cooking, going for nature walks, practicing self-care, listening to music (especially live), and exploring the world with her husband. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University.
