Antenna Measurement Chamber

The AEWL at Oakland University (OU) manages an antenna measurement chamber facility. The chamber is capable of testing antennas in the rage of 800MHz - 6GHz. The antenna under test (AUT) is placed on a 1m round edged GND plane. The distance between the transmit and receive antennas is 2.7m. The chamber size is 4.9m x 3m x 3m.

The AEWL indoor antenna measurement chamber facility has been used by automotive, military, government and OEMs to test a wide variety of antenna elements and systems. Table I lists the most commonly used antenna types and their frequency ranges.
