Need a COVID-19 Test?  online registration and consent form

We are directing the OU community to HELIX diagnostics for testing.  Make your appointment for COVID-19 PCR test today by completing the above registration link.  You will receive a link for scheduling your time will be provided once the form is submitted.

HELIX Diagnostics, will be conducting COVID-19 PCR tests at the Oakland Center. Located in the seating area between The Market convenience store and the Oakland Center Food Court.

All other conditions for weekly testing will remain the same, including:

  • Testing is offered by appointment only from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Individuals tested on campus are asked not to upload results to Graham Health Center, as results are sent directly from the laboratory.
  • Tests can be conducted at off-campus locations.
  • Test should be scheduled no less than 5 days and no more than nine days apart.

Accessing HELIX Diagnostics Patient Portal Laboratory Results:

1. 24 hours AFTER your first test is collected, Navigate to
2. Select Create New Account.  If results are not ready, you will receive an error message
3. Enter the requested information and validate from your account
4. If you opt in, you will receive a text message when future results are available.

Staying Safe for the Holidays
  • Protect those not yet eligible for vaccination such as young children by getting yourself and other eligible people around them vaccinated.
  • Wear well-fitting masks over your nose and mouth if you are in public indoor settings if you are not fully vaccinated.
  • Even those who are fully vaccinated should wear a mask in public indoor settings in communities with substantial to high transmission.
  • Outdoors is safer than indoors.
  • Avoid crowded, poorly ventilated spaces.
  • If you are sick or have symptoms, don’t host or attend a gathering.
  • Get tested if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have a close contact with someone who has COVID-19.

COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Winter 2022
  • Mandate applies to all Oakland University students, faculty and staff.
  • If you haven't already done so, please upload your completed COVID-19 vaccine record by December 13. If you've already uploaded your vaccine status, you do NOT need to do it again. To learn more about uploading vaccination status, visit the patient portal instructions page.
  • The exemption process for students is reviewed by the Dean of Students office. More information for students can be found on the Dean of Students website. Please see the specific exemption forms for additional information.

COVID vaccine appointments are now available.

Now scheduling appointments for Primary vaccine series and Boosters:
Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine is now available by appointment at GHC. 

We encourage you to self-schedule an appointment through the patient portal (see link to the right) for all current OU affiliates. Alumni, family members and non-OU affiliates can schedule an appointment by calling GHC directly.

Please note: You must be 18 years of age or older to receive COVID-19 vaccine at GHC.
