COVID Vaccine Appointments & Walk-Ins

If you have already received your COVID-19 booster dose, please upload the date and vaccine record to your patient portal.  

Moderna vaccine is available at Graham Health Center.  You can schedule an appointment via the patient portal, call, or walk-in to receive your vaccine. 

Primary series Dose #1 & Dose #2

Booster Vaccine (#3) - 4 months after the second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, 2 months after J&J

Second Booster (#4) - if eligible: 50 years or older, at least 4 months after your first booster dose.  

You must be 18 years of age or older to receive COVID-19 vaccine from GHC. Alumni, family members and non-OU affiliates can schedule an appointment by calling GHC directly.

Need a COVID-19 Test?

On campus testing: schedule an appointment using this link  Please note:  Summer hours for HELIX are Monday & Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments will not be available 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. due to lunch break. 

For those looking for on campus testing, we are directing the OU community to HELIX diagnostics for COVID-19 PCR testing. Make sure you have your G# when you arrive for your appointment. 

HELIX Diagnostics, will be conducting COVID-19 PCR tests at the Oakland Center. Located in the seating area between The Market convenience store and the Oakland Center Food Court.

All other conditions for weekly testing will remain the same, including:

  • Testing is offered on Monday & Thursday ONLY by appointment only from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Individuals tested on campus are asked not to upload results to Graham Health Center, as results are sent directly from the laboratory.
  • Tests can be conducted at off-campus locations.
  • Test should be scheduled no less than 5 days and no more than nine days apart.
Accessing HELIX Diagnostics Patient Portal Laboratory Results
  1. 24-36 hours AFTER your first test is collected, Navigate to
  2. Select Create New Account. The Patient ID is your G number. If results are not ready, you will receive an error message.
  3. Enter the requested information and validate from your account.
  4. If you opt in, you will receive a text message when future results are available.
  5. You do NOT need to upload your HELIX results to the portal. GHC has access and will upload to your record.

University COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for 2022
  • Mandate applies to all Oakland University students, faculty and staff.
  • Vaccine mandate is to complete the primary series of an approved COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson)
  • If you haven't already done so, please upload your completed COVID-19 vaccine record (primary series) by following dates. Please upload your booster vaccines as well. It will assist with determining quarantine requirements.

    • Summer I: Tuesday, May 3, 2022
    • Summer II: Monday, June 27, 2022
    • Fall 2022: Monday, August 8, 2022
