Every year, the Oakland Circle grows larger, thanks to the generosity of our donors. The Oakland Circle consists of individuals who have given at the $1,000 level and higher annually. Make your commitment to OU and join the Oakland Circle.

Honors donors of all levels who support OU for three consecutive years or more.

Individuals who have donated to Oakland University for three or more consecutive years are recognized with membership in Oakland University’s Black & Gold Loyalty Society.

Black & Gold Loyalty Society members help Oakland University strengthen our ability to create and sustain educational opportunities for deserving students.

• Gifts of any amount to every area of Oakland University are accepted
• Alumni, faculty, staff, and friends are eligible to become members
• Members are invited to exclusive events 

Members of the Black & Gold Loyalty Society impact Oakland University through their support and commitment. By consecutively donating, Black & Gold Loyalty Society members demonstrate how one generation can promote the next. Members who give to Oakland University make an excellent investment that expands opportunities for education and the futures of students. One of the most exciting and important nights of the year at Oakland University, the Celebration of Scholarships is a springtime event for invited donors who make educational opportunities possible for students. It is a night of laughter, tears, and tributes to the kindness and generosity of OU donors.
