We are Grateful Grizzlies

Hi, I'm Amanda. I'm in my fourth year, at Oakland University and I'm really grateful for all of the community partner organizations like La Familia in Pontiac, who welcome Oakland University student interns, like myself, each summer. This year I was able to join their company as a radio host for a service learning opportunity. I'm just really grateful for that experience and the people that I met because of it. Hello! And we are the cast of a new brain. We are so grateful for our faculty staff and supporters, who allow us to pursue our passions. And we are also very grateful for the audiences to come and watch us as we pursue the thing that we love to do. 

Hello, my name is Connor Pace. The thing that I'm grateful for most is the professors here at the business school helped me a lot in my career. I'm grateful for my friends and I'm grateful that we all live together on campus. Because we see each other every day and we all look over each other every day and we do a lot of things together and they're like a huge part of my day today. And we all want the best for each other, and we all do our best like, help each other to succeed and reach our goals. And they're always there for me. 

Hi, I'm he Eli R. and I'm really happy to be here at Oakland University because I get to enjoy the beautiful campus.

Hi. This is Jen Krizka, SAAC president. On behalf of all the student athletes here at Oakland University, I would like to give a big thank you to our coaches, our trainers, our donors; anyone and everyone that is on staff, that helps us become successful and supports us in everything that we do on and off the field. A big shout out to our fans who come and watch us compete. We like to give a big thank you to you guys as well. You guys help us and enable us to be the best athletes and students that we can be. Thank you and go Golden Grizzlies. I'm grateful for all of my friends in medical school. And they say that people that make you the happiest allow you to grow and I can't say, that's been more true in my life then these past few months. So, I'm just so thankful to have been surrounded with such amazing and supportive people and it just warms my heart every time I see them. I'm grateful for all these beautiful places on Oakland's campus to study. I'm grateful for the Gender and Sexuality Center. They make students feel more involved and welcomed on campus. I'm grateful to have friends that I can fall family here at Oakland. 

Hello, I'm Connor Newton over here at Meadow Brook Estate. As you can see with these lights, we are getting ready for the holiday season here, and we're very excited for that. I'm most grateful for the wonderful university that Matilda and Alfred Wilson founded and the fantastic community here at OU and beyond who support us every day. 

Hi, I'm Mitchell and I'm grateful for how organized my classes are here on campus. I would say I'm thankful for the CMI program. When I joined, I learned about new scholarships, different opportunities I could have to grow and learn about different backgrounds within my community. I'm thankful for all my peers at the School of Engineering and Computer Science. A lot of great people here.
