Art, music and even mystery will transform Meadow Brook Hall this fall, with a series of fun fall events and tours.
Visitors will be enchanted with the colorful event lineup, from a gorgeous outdoor floral art exhibit to thrilling screenings of classic films, Flashlight Tours, Mystery Dinners and so much more! All events take place at Meadow Brook Hall, the National Historic Landmark located on the campus of Oakland University.

Art in the Elements
Art in the Elements invites guests to stroll the woodland paths of The Great Estate for a limited run floral exhibition. The year’s theme is “Heroes, Myths & Legends” and features large-scale outdoor floral displays and several interior displays inspired by The Hall’s decorative arts, created by renowned floral artists from around the country. The preview evening on Sept. 5 features a cash bar and chance to meet the artists. The tour is open Sept. 6-8. Tickets are $25 each.
Meadow Brook’s biggest annual fundraiser has a new look— Nightfall at The Hall. It is more than a unique night out, it’s an evening with an impact. The benefit takes place at 6 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 19 and features cocktails, fabulous gourmet cuisine, live music and silent and live auctions all set against the most beautiful backdrop—Meadow Brook at sunset! Tickets are $150 each.
Make your own set of pint glasses at Glass Etching in the Garden hosted by Meadow Brook and Paint Creek Center for the Arts. Create a set of custom glasses to take home just in time for Oktoberfest. Ticket are $50 per person and $45 for Meadow Brook or Paint Creek members. Along with instruction and all supplies, this event will include light refreshments, a cash bar and the option to tour Meadow Brook’s grounds.
Mystery Dinner
See Meadow Brook Hall in a new light as its hidden details and exquisite craftsmanship are illuminated as never before with our exciting Flashlight Tours. Your docent will show you behind ropes, under tables and inside cabinets to highlight the secret spaces you probably missed in the daylight. This is a unique and intimate experience, with only ten guests per tour. Tickets are $30 each and are available on select Tuesdays this fall.
Enjoy a movie night out! See thrilling, classic films projected on the big screen in Meadow Brook Hall’s historic Gothic-inspired Ballroom, while enjoying a casual three-course dinner and cash bar for Dinner and a Movie. The first screening will be “Knives Out” on Wednesday, October 9. Followed by “House on Haunted Hill” on Wednesday, October 30, and “The Birds” shown on Thursday, Nov. 7. The movies will run from 6-9:30 p.m. and tickets are $60 each.
The game is afoot at Meadow Brook’s Mystery Dinner and this time it’s murder! Sleuths are invited to dress up and solve the puzzling who-done-it. The glamorous evening includes a three-course meal, cocktails and a chance to solve a mystery. Featuring a team of players from The Murder Mystery Company, Meadow Brook’s Mystery Dinners will take place from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 17 and 24. Tickets are $135 per person.
