This free, high-impact event is dedicated to tackling one of Michigan’s most pressing issues of attracting and retaining young talent. This dynamic program brings together academia with government, philanthropic, and industry leaders to share insights and strategies for creating a thriving, innovative and inclusive Michigan economy.
The event will kick off with a talk by Oakland University Basketball Coach Greg Kampe, who has had a long career inspiring young people to play a critical role in shaping Michigan's future. Panel discussions will follow, featuring:
Janell Townsend, chair of the Department of Management and Marketing at OU, emphasizes the importance of collective expertise: “Our society works best when it fires on all cylinders and brings together thought leaders from various areas of society to address key challenges.”
Career networking sessions are integrated into the event to provide students and employers a chance to interact in an informal environment.
Students and community members are invited to attend to gain actionable insights, and network with industry leaders to explore ways to contribute to Michigan's growth while advancing their own personal and professional goals.
