Kathryn Petrozzo, Ph.D. is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Prior to her appointment she earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Utah (2024) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Psychology at Saint Michael's College (2017).
She is broadly interested in how the institutions of science, medicine, and the law interact, and how these interactions can disproportionately affect marginalized groups. The questions and concerns that arise in her research are approached from traditional and innovative methods in bioethics, philosophy of science, philosophy of psychiatry, philosophy of mind/cognitive science, law, research ethics, ethics of technology, and social philosophy.
