Suicide/Death

In the event of a death or suicide being discovered by Oakland University personnel, the following actions should be taken:

• Contact us
• Upon determination of the identity of the individual as affiliated with the university, OU Police will notify the president and the appropriate vice president:
  • Staff - Finance & Administration
  • Student - Student Affairs
  • Faculty - Academic Affairs
• This vice president’s office will then notify the family.
