Provost Undergraduate Student Travel Award
Undergraduate students actively pursuing a degree at Oakland University are invited to apply for travel grants. These awards are limited to a maximum of $400 each.
Student travel grant awards are intended to be used by students to travel to a conference to present a paper. Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- The applicant must be the actual presenter and have an accepted paper.
- The student must be enrolled at the time of travel, but recently graduated students may be funded to present a paper at a conference up to six months after graduation.
- Applications must be submitted online through infoReady REVIEW.
- The applicant(s) must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and attach a transcript to the online application. An advising copy of the transcript obtained from SAIL is acceptable.
- Verification, such as registration confirmation, date and location of the conference, as well as title of the paper must be provided.
- A faculty mentor must be identified and submit a Mentor Reference Letter through the infoReady REVIEW
Deadlines for application submission are:
- Third Friday of October (not available 2023)
- Third Friday of February
