Vocal coach Cat Dacpano has earned Bachelors Degrees from the University of Michigan and Marygrove College in General Studies and Vocal Music Education. Cat started studying piano at age five through Oakland University’s outreach program with Theresa Mack. A further accomplished pianist and soprano as well, Cat is the Director of Music and Worship at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Sterling Heights. In addition, Cat is a music, orchestra and vocal director for multiple theatres, high schools and summer camps in the metro area. She can also be seen on and off the local stage as an actress or musician. Since 2004, Cat has frequented the Detroit professional event band circuit as a frontline singer. Throughout her varied musical journey, Cat has worked with notables such as James Taylor, Carol Vaness, Timothy Noble and John Wustman.
