Ph.D. IN NURSING

The online Ph.D. in Nursing program is designed to prepare scholars to respond to the escalating health care needs of society, enhance nursing knowledge through research, and steward the nursing discipline.
DOCTOR OF NURSING PRACTICE
The post-master Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Oakland University is a fully online program with a two- or three-year Plan of Study.
Graduates who possess a DNP degree are prepared to assume clinical and leadership roles in both academic and practice settings.
DOCTOR OF NURSING PRACTICE-NURSE ANESTHESIA
The Oakland University-Beaumont Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia is a collaborative initiative between Oakland University and nationally renowned Beaumont Health System. Working in concert, both institutions are able to provide an exceptional educational environment for educating Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
The Doctor of Nursing Practice-Nurse Anesthesia (DNP-NA) program prepares advanced practice nurses (APRNs) with a specialization in nurse anesthesia.
FORENSIC NURSING

NURSE PRACTITIONER PROGRAM
The Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Program, prepares nurses for advanced practice in a clinical specialty. Clinical specialties offered include Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care, Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner: Primary Care, and Family Nurse Practitioner.
Oakland University's Nurse Practitioner (NP) program offers excellence as well as flexibility. Didactic courses are offered as online and hybrid. Clinical courses offer the opportunity to engage with experienced, practicing faculty and preceptors.
