Biography

Cathleen Breidenbach, Special Instructor, has taught at Oakland for the past fourteen years. She received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan, her M.A. from Oakland, and has completed Ph.D.course work at Wayne State University. She brings experience in public relations, advertising, and free lance journalism to the classroom. Her interest in the ways language reflects and shapes culture informs her teaching of writing.
