Biography
Dr. Giberson earned his MA in English from the University of Akron in 1998 and his PhD in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of South Florida in 2004. He has published three edited collections, The Knowledge Economy Academic and the Commodification of Higher Education, What We Are Becoming: Developments in the Undergraduate Writing Major, and Writing Majors: Eighteen Program Profiles. He has also published several articles, chapters, and reviews in various journals and books, and regularly presents his work at national conferences. He currently serves as the managing editor of the online scholarly journal Composition Forum.
