Biography
Christina Hall has been teaching at Oakland University since 2009 and also serves as Director of Professional Development at Meadow Brook Writing Project. She spent several years editing novels and writing book reviews, as well as teaching creative writing to K-12 students in Troy, Detroit, and Denver.
Hall has published various creative and academic pieces and especially enjoys research regarding teaching writing. She has presented at multiple national conferences on topics such as using technology in the classroom, reflective writing and metacognition, effective and efficient feedback practices, and the benefits of writing marathons in the classroom. With a particular passion for writing marathons, Christina runs the OU campus writing marathon every fall and hopes that you'll come join us in writing around campus!
