Research Interests
Dr. Bianchette’s research focuses on natural hazards, paleoenvironmental reconstruction, paleoecology, and sedimentology. Students that are interested in research opportunities should visit his lab website (Coastal Hazard and Environmental Reconstruction Lab). Laboratory work consists of geological (ex. loss-on-ignition), biological (ex. microfossils), and chemical (ex. x-ray fluorescence) techniques.
