The First Year Advising Center fosters exploration and growth as new students transition to college. We provide tailored services and connections to campus resources that empower students to define their educational goals and achieve academic success.
FYAC at-a-glance:
- As a result of the emergency closure on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the drop/add deadline for full semester courses has been extended by one day to Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The FYAC will offer an additional drop-in day on Wednesday, January 21, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for students who need assistance.
- Winter required appointments start on January 21, 2026. All students must meet with their adviser before registration for the 2026-2027 academic year opens in late March. A hold will be placed on your account, and you will not be able to register or withdraw from any courses until this requirement is met.
