THE RESULTS ARE IN!
Because of you, our community came together to raise $687,487.00 from 940 unique donors, generating 1,179 gifts that supported 186 funds across Oakland University.
We are so grateful to every donor, ambassador, and supporter who gave, shared, posted, and encouraged others to participate throughout the day. Your generosity — amplified through matches and challenges — helped gifts go even further.

Celebrate Giving Day at the Giving Day Happy Hour on February 25 from 4–7 p.m at Grand Tavern in Rochester Hills. Pick up your Giving Day socks and enjoy giveaways, raffles, prizes and a complimentary professional headshot while connecting with fellow OU supporters. Register for Happy Hour.
Giving Day is packed with donor-funded matches and challenges designed to make every gift go further. Thanks to generous supporters and local partners, many gifts made on Giving Day can be matched or boosted in real time.
New to giving? Start here:
First-Time Donor Match – First-time gifts are matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $100.
Early Bird Match (provided by OUCU) – Early gifts help unlock a major match to start the day strong.
Social Media Challenges – Share your support using #Give2OU for chances to earn bonus funds.
Power Hour Challenges – Timed giving windows where gifts can unlock additional dollars.
Golden Donor Drawings – Randomly selected donors receive bonus funds added to their gift.
Check back often! Challenges, matches and leaderboards are updated throughout the day on the OU Giving Day website.

To participate in OU Giving Day and count your gift toward matches and challenges, donations must be made online through the official Giving Day website on Giving Day. Online Giving
Giving online through the Giving Day website is quick, easy and secure. Make a one-time gift to the fund of your choice and help unlock matching gifts and challenge opportunities available throughout the day.
Check or Cash Gifts
Donors may also give by check or cash prior to Giving Day. These gifts will support the fund of your choice but are not eligible for Giving Day matches or challenge funds.
