Sarah has been an academic adviser in the School of Nursing since 1998. She works with students who have been admitted to the Basic BSN track who started at OU as freshmen. She also advises our freshman direct admit nursing students and seeks to build community within this group. Her primary role includes assisting students by reviewing degree requirements and university policies with them, providing resources and referrals to other offices when needed, helping them feel connected and engaged at OU, and supporting them by serving as a student advocate.
