Grant Gerhart, Ph.D.

Dr. Grant Gerhart is an independent consultant at Signature Research Inc., a company specializing in defense and space, with a focus on signature phenomenology, analysis, and modeling. Currently retired, he had a distinguished career at the US Army TARDEC (Tank-Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center) spanning 37 years, where he served as Chief Research Scientist from 1996 to 2010 and Research Scientist from 1972 to 1996.

Gerhart earned his PhD from Wayne State University (1966–1972) and his BS in Physics from Iowa State University (1962–1966).
