Chris Stiller

Chris Stiller, PT, Ph.D., is the President, Founder and Owner of Pediatric Health Consultants, Inc, an organization which provides school physical, occupational and recreational therapy services to children with disabilities in the Detroit Metro area.

Dr. Stiller served at Oakland University as a Physical Therapy Faculty for 39 years and is now a Physical Therapy Clinical Professor. During her time at Oakland she served as the Chair of the Institutional Review Board, Faculty Athletic Representative and Chair for the Graduate Student Research Conference Committee. She also wrote multiple accreditation documents for the Physical Therapy Program.

Prior to working at Oakland University and Pediatric Health Consultants, Inc, Dr. Stiller worked at Detroit Institute for Children and at Utica Community Schools as a Physical Therapist.

Throughout her career Dr. Stiller has also reviewed for the Journal of Physical Therapy Education, received National and State Research Awards, been inducted into the Oakland University School of Health Sciences Health Achievement Leadership Legacy (HALL), maintained membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and APTI-Michigan and served as a judge for APTA-MI Research Posters.

Dr. Stiller has been honored to work with and receive support from Oakland University throughout her career. As a member of the SHS BOARD, she hopes to pay it forward through mentorship and service to Oakland’s community members, students, staff and faculty to facilitate the growth and recognition of the School of Health Sciences.

Dr. Stiller received a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Michigan State University, a MA in Human Growth and Development from Wayne State University and a BS in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University.
