Research/Scholarship:
Independent study on “Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Hospital Settings” that incorporated data reported from among 5,800 hospitals across the United States. Since 2013 has taught these findings to over 1000 Oakland University students, especially in the HS 4410 – Integrative Holistic Medicine course. Recently created and started to teach in 2019 the HS 3450 – Leadership and Healthcare course which incorporates world-class leaderships practices and insights as well as reviews case studies on public health, including ethical issues. Has real-world experience improving the overall health and quality of life primarily to an underprivileged population within Oakland County. His goal has been to improve the overall mind, body, and spiritual health of people both as a credentialed practitioner in the community and as an instructor empowering medical students in the classroom. Currently working as a principal investigator on a grant to benefit the overall health of full-time caretakers of love ones in their homes, especially since nation-wide 35% of these full-time caretakers die before the people they are taking care of.
