Katie Pring
MS; Physical Therapy; Oakland University
BS; Physical Therapy; Oakland University
Katie Pring is an alumna of Oakland University, having earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the School of Health Sciences. In 2000, she graduated from OU with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Pring has worked in various therapy settings including acute care, inpatient rehab and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Throughout her career, she has taken a variety of leadership positions and currently serves as the director of therapy services for Synergy Health Partners located in the Metro Detroit area. With a strong passion for orthopedic care, she has assisted and developed many specialty programs within the outpatient environment. Pring’s interest in pelvic health led to her developing a women’s health program at Synergy Health Partners. To help encourage other physical therapists who wish to practice in this specialty, she created the KM Pring Women’s Health Scholarship which is annually awarded to a third year physical therapy student interested in pursuing women’s health.
