Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy

The Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) in the Department of Human Movement Science is designed to offer advanced, graduate-level courses in orthopedics with a manual therapy focus to physical therapists interested in elevating their clinical practice skills. This educational program provides advanced theoretical and clinical training, emphasizing differential diagnosis and manual therapy procedures.

This program consists of 18 credits of coursework, including advanced orthopedic science and theory, manual therapy techniques, and clinical fellowship training. All of the required courses that comprise this graduate certificate can be applied to the Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy degree.
