Christina Hall

Christina Hall has been teaching at Oakland University since 2009 and also serves as Director of Communication at Meadow Brook Writing Project. She spent several years editing novels and writing book reviews, as well as teaching creative writing to K-12 students in Lapeer, Rochester, Troy, Detroit, and Denver. 

Hall has published various creative and academic pieces and especially enjoys research regarding teaching writing. She has presented at multiple national conferences on topics such as using technology in the classroom, reflective writing and metacognition, effective and efficient feedback practices, the benefits of writing marathons in the classroom, and the importance of media literacy. 

With a passion for education, Hall currently serves on the school board at a local charter school, and has served in various volunteer positions over the years in public schools. That passion is ever present in her classes here at OU as well, where she is dedicated to making sure her students feel valued, challenged, and empowered.
