How to get help?
The Oakland University e-Learning and Instructional Support office offers the following types of support to students, faculty, and staff who are having e-learning related problems in supported systems like Moodle, Panopto, Zoom, etc.
Support Team
Phone: To get immediate help, call (248) 805-1625 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
Online: Login to our e-LIS Support Portal and fill out a support request.
Live Chat: Live chat is available from our e-LIS Support Portal Page Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Start the chat by clicking the Chat icon in the lower right corner.
Instructional Design Team
The e-LIS Instructional Design Team offers in person and online assistance by appointment only to faculty and staff. The Instructional Design (ID) Team can provide more in-depth assistance related to course building, online/hybrid teaching, activity design, video creation, and more.
Online: The ID Team primarily offers appointments via Zoom. Make a virtual appointment with an Instructional Designer.
In person: In person assistance is available from the Instructional Design Team by appointment only. Email [email protected].
Classroom Support and Instructional Technical Services
If you have questions about technology in the classrooms or generalized questions about the Oakland University IT environment (network connectivity, desktop computing, etc.) please contact the CSITS helpdesk.
