History Internship

Put your historical thinking skills into practice. OU History has partnered with museums, businesses, civic organizations, historical associations, law firms and libraries in and beyond Michigan.

History students have interned for workplaces such as Oakland County Historical Society, Selfridge Air Museum and Kresge Library. Students have gained experience working on World War II planes, organizing archives and engaging in public history. These invaluable experiences will help prepare you for the job market or graduate school.

Students receive academic credit for their internship, including those that are paid.
