Mariana Allushuski, Ph.D.
Mariana Allushuski, Ph.D. serves as assistant dean for Student Affairs and Career Development. In this role, she provides leadership and strategic support for student affairs programs and initiatives, including career development, academic success, student advising, wellness and well-being, and student programming. Prior to her current role, Dr. Allushuski served as director of Academic Success, where she led initiatives designed to support students’ academic development. She continues to work closely with students, faculty, and staff to advance programs and initiatives that support students throughout their medical education and professional development.
Dr. Allushuski received a B.S. in Psychology from Lipscomb University, an M.Ed. in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi. Prior to joining OUWB, she spent over 10 years working with undergraduate students in academic advising, first-year experience, early intervention, teaching, student retention, learning strategies coaching, and academic support programs. Her work is grounded in a commitment to student success and holistic development, with a focus on supporting students throughout their medical education and preparing them for their future careers.
