Building on OUWB’s commitment to be a leader in medical education, our research program is focused on creating new knowledge and technologies that lead to improved medical care and the health of our local and global communities. Our research program is committed to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians who understand research processes, scientific rigor and evidence-based medicine. Our research programs include collaboration and partnerships with Corewell Health East and the Beaumont Research Institute, as well various departments at Oakland University and other regional and national institutions.Active research focus areas include:
