Continuing Education
The School of Nursing's Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) programs meet the growing demand for nurses by offering educational activities to improve skills, knowledge and practice related to optimal healthcare delivery, evidence-based skills, and self-care. Activities may consist of one-hour online courses, multiweek online courses, face-to-face workshops and conferences, or on site offerings at our hospital and community partners. The NCPD Committee and Continuing Education Nurse Planner, Brandi Otto, work with healthcare partners to identify educational needs, assess needs of the learner, develop and deliver quality evidence-based content and adhere to the guidelines set by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Nurses Association.
