DR. JENNIFER WENSON

My name is Dr. Jennifer Wenson and I am a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership. I teach six different courses in the undergraduate and graduate program focusing on instruction/facilitation in team building, leadership, organizational development and behavior. I have taught at OU since 2008. I have been a practicing human resource development consultant specializing in leadership competencies for over twenty years. I focus mainly in manufacturing and work with supervisors and team leads to strengthen how they communication, motivate and deal with crucial conversations.

Professional Interests

My professional interests involve leadership competencies in manufacturing, specializing in the Lean Philosophy. I instruct leadership courses in conjunction with Lean programs. As the Lean concepts are taught, I facilitate leadership skills to aid in the success of the Lean journey.

Service

I serve the OU community by being a Mentor in the Honors College and for the Honors Society. I am frequently asked to speak at HRD Society Graduate/Undergraduate events.
