Transcripts

Official transcripts

Students are encouraged to order their transcripts through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), as this is the fastest mode of delivery, and electronic transcripts are preferred by most recipients.

Request Official Transcript

Transcripts processed through the NSC electronically are typically received the same day they are ordered. Paper transcripts may be ordered through MySail, but orders may experience delays, as the Office of the Registrar only processes transcripts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Official transcripts are unable to be provided by NSC under the following circumstances:

  • Student has outstanding financial obligations to Oakland University
    • Balance must be paid in full before official transcript can be released
  • Student attended prior to 1987
    • Email trnscrpt@oakland.edu for instructions to expedite your request
    • Up to 2 business days for processing
  • Student is/was a Continuing Education student
    • Email trnscrpt@oakland.edu for instructions to expedite your request
    • Up to 10 business days for processing
  • Student has supplemental documentation that must accompany official transcript

Unofficial transcripts

Current students may continue to view an unofficial transcript through MySAIL.

  1. Log into your MySAIL account using your NetID/password (Help)
  2. Select "Grades and Transcript"
  3. Select "View Transcript"
