Dr. J. Lynne Williams

The first full-time health sciences faculty, Dr. J. Lynne Williams has been instrumental in the growth of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences programming in the School of Health Sciences and has contributed greatly to the profession. She has published articles in many journals, co-edited a textbook for which she wrote several chapters, and has been involved in numerous state and national committees. In acknowledgement of her outstanding service to the field and the university, Dr. Williams’ has earned numerous awards and recognitions from OU, SHS, the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) and the Michigan Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (MSCLS). Recognizing her contributions, the School of Health Sciences honors Dr. Williams with the 2019 Health Achievement Leadership Legacy (HALL) Award.
