John Waugh is currently the system vice president for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine product line in the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. He has responsibility for the shared Core Laboratories at Henry Ford Hospital, five community hospitals, over 30 ambulatory centers and a growing laboratory outreach business. In addition, Waugh also oversees administrative leadership, human resources, finance, supply chain, IT and strategic planning. Waugh has twice chaired the Laboratory Committee of one of the largest group purchasing organization in the US, is on the Board of Directors of the Compass Group, and is a member of the Administrative and Finance Committees for Michigan Co-Tenancy Laboratories. He has also been an invited speaker for the Executive War College and G2 Intelligence, and has consulted on clinical diagnostics, completing over 600 engagements with people in 25 countries.
