Research:
Dr. Jones’ research examines the role of physical activity and sedentary behaviors during pregnancy on the future cardiovascular health risk of both the mom and baby. She is especially passionate about understanding the interplay of health disparities and health behaviors to reduce cardiovascular health risk across the lifespan in an equitable and accessible way. Dr. Jones has expertise in developmental origins of health and disease, activity measurement methods, and cardiovascular risk assessment.
