Jason Ryska, DEng
Dr. Jason Ryska is a manufacturing leader with over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. As Director of Global Manufacturing Development at Ford Motor Company, Dr. Ryska was responsible for driving innovation and operational excellence across Ford’s manufacturing operations worldwide. With a focus on optimizing processes, enhancing product quality, and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, he played a key role in shaping Ford’s manufacturing strategy to support the company’s global vision for mobility and sustainability.
Dr. Ryska's expertise spans all aspects of manufacturing operations, from plant management and world-class manufacturing initiatives to production system optimization and team leadership. Prior to joining Ford, Dr. Ryska held senior leadership positions at several major automotive companies, including a tenure as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Autodie, LLC, where he led operations for a global manufacturer of tooling and dies for the automotive industry. Dr. Ryska also spent over 18 years with FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where he held various leadership roles, including Plant Manager at both the Jefferson North Assembly Plant and Warren Truck Assembly Plant, as well as General Manager of Stamping Operations.
Dr. Ryska holds a Doctor of Engineering in Automotive Systems and Mobility from the University of Michigan, an Executive MBA from Michigan State University, and a MS in Systems Engineering and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
