Amy Garrett

Amy Garrett has worked as a physical therapist at Beaumont Hospital for over twenty years, with advanced certification in inpatient neurological rehab. Amy has spent time as a clinical instructor at Beaumont and OU Physical Therapy’s Bridge the Gap program. She also served as a guest lecturer at OCC – Macomb.

Over the past decade when Amy is not in the clinical setting, she is a senior management team member at CGS Advisors, a boutique strategic and innovation advisory firm founded by her husband (and fellow OU grad), Gregg. At CGS, Amy has the responsibility for all non-client facing operations.

Amy is tireless in her commitment to the communities in which she lives and works. She has held numerous leadership positions at not-for-profit, volunteer groups, and community organizations.

Amy holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in biology, health sciences, and physical therapy from Oakland University. She enjoys competing and staying active through activities like marathon running, competitive tennis, and just about any hands-on project. She also loves finding adventures like travel, backpacking, camping, biking, and skiing with her husband and two boys.
