Adrianna Wood
Member Services Coordinator, University Recreation and Well-Being
Adrianna Wood is ready to guide her students along to be the best version of themselves while providing a top notch member services experience. She comes from Towson University where she received a M.S. in Human Resource Development and before that she got a B.S in Sport & Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University.
Before taking the reins in this position, Adrianna was the Graduate Assistant of Membership & Guest Services for the Department of Campus Recreation at Towson University. There she was able to establish good relationships and build a membership and guest services team from the ground up. Some focuses during her time there included civility and inclusion work with neuroinclusivity and a revamp of student appreciation programs.
Adrianna takes an approach that is grounded in research with her past and future work being based on evidence. Mixing that with her chameleon people skills, she is able to fill the role that the students and patrons need of her emphasizing humor and authenticity.
She has received numerous awards such as the Vice President of Student Affairs Award from Towson University, the William N. Wasson Student Leadership & Academic Award from NIRSA, and was named an American Kinesiology Association National Undergraduate Scholar. Adrianna is also Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and certified in Mental Health First Aid and Naloxone & Opioid Overdose Response.
Adrianna is a pretty big sports fan, with her favorites being college hockey, college basketball, and college baseball but is always down for any event. When not at work or at a game, she’ll be listening to podcasts or watching documentaries with her over 100 houseplants and her dog Suki.
