James Ziadeh, M.D.
Chair of Emergency Medicine
Dr. James Ziadeh currently serves as the Chair of Emergency Medicine for Oakland University William Beaumont school of medicine as well as the Chief of Emergency Medicine for Royal Oak. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan followed by medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Ziadeh completed his Residency in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Royal Oak in 1999 followed by a fellowship in Geriatric Emergency Medicine, also at Royal Oak Beaumont. Following Fellowship, he served in progressive leadership positions within the Department of Emergency Medicine. In 2011, he was appointed Chief of Emergency Medicine.
In addition to his leadership roles at Royal Oak, he currently serves as the Physician Chief for Emergency Clinical Services for Beaumont Health as well as the medical director of the Beaumont Health transfer center.
Dr. Ziadeh has also served as President of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians, one the country’s largest chapters of the American College of Emergency Physicians as well as a Councillor for ACEP. He also serves as a Senior Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
