All students enrolled in the School of Medicine

Standard Practice Guideline:

Students who have satisfied all standards for the conferment of the M.D. degree (see section III. B. 3) prior to April 30th will be awarded the degree in mid May of that year. Students who have not satisfied all standards for the conferment of the M.D. degree prior to the date of the commencement ceremony are eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony if they are on schedule to satisfy all standards prior to June 30th of that year. The degree will not be conferred until all requirements have been met. Participation in commencement does not signify graduation.
