Rationale:This guideline provides the requirements for creating a new student award. Scope and Applicability:OUWB individuals or units establishing a new student award or honor society that meets one of the following criteria:
Standard Practice Guideline:OUWB individuals or units that wish to establish a new student award or honor society that meets the above criteria must submit a Student Award Proposal Form to the Committee on Student Awards for review. The committee will review the proposal to ensure that it conforms to pertinent OUWB and OU policies. The committee will request revisions as necessary and upon approval, will submit the proposal to the Executive Assistant in the Dean's office so that it can be routed appropriately for approval. The committee will communicate the final decision to the originating individual or unit. | |
