Rationale:

The purpose of this guideline is to enhance student development through improved coordination of academic support, closer supervision of patient care, provision of additional academic or behavioral assistance, and closer monitoring of the student's progress.

 

Scope and Applicability:

Academic performance records for all students enrolled in the School of Medicine

 

Standard Practice Guideline:

OUWB Faculty and Staff members with a need to know may review student academic records, performance evaluations and other pertinent student information.

 

Procedures:

Requests should be submitted to the Director of School of Medicine Records and Registration. This information may not be shared with any other faculty, residents, or students except as permitted by law or by School of Medicine practices and guidelines.
