For over 50 years we've delivered a world class education equipping students with essential professional skills and preparing them to excel in their chosen fields. Our graduate program focuses on technical skills and soft skills that are very important for leadership. We value experiential learning and so students do lots of hands-on work. It's such a supportive environment there's so much of equity inclusivity and all the professors are really helpful. I chose Oakland University because its location, it's close to my home in Windsor as well as to my work. It's been great being able to learn from all these different people and all their different walks of life and experiences they've had. We offer lots of flexibility in terms of evening classes weekend classes and diverse teaching modalities. It's such a great playground for like continuous learning it's challenging but at the same time, the faculty is super supportive and super helpful. I knew I could foster my personal and professional growth here. Oakland University is located in southeast Michigan surrounded by a lot of companies and so this location is fantastic for students to get internships and jobs. It's such a supportive environment innovating new ways for us to be able to learn and take in the classes. To see them succeed and make progress as a teacher that's the best reward that we can get.
